    Description

    According to the 1969 LaPierre-Sawyer catalog (see link below), this 16" handle is for 24 ounce machinist or ball pein hammer heads with an approximate eye size of 19/32" x 1 1/16".  The company was founded in Jackson, Missouri 1902 and I believe my grandpa bought this before he moved the family to California which would put this handle in the mid 1940's.  So if you have a hammer head from that era that matches this description and needs a handle, this would be perfect!
